Congratulations on your move to the Sci-Fi Channel! I wish you all the best in your new position.

I'm a devoted fan of Earth 2, and was very happy to see The Sci-Fi Channel begin airing its episodes. Earth 2 is one of those rare television series that succeeded on all levels, with high
quality writing, acting, music, editing, direction, and special effects. It was nominated for three Emmy awards in its first and only season in 1995, and won the Emmy for Best Visual Special Effects. Unfortunately, Earth 2 was cancelled because of a dispute between the studio and the producers. NBC cancelled the series rather than compromise its high quality. If Earth 2 had been renewed, I'm sure that it would have achieved the ratings success of other Sci-Fi series.

Please consider reviving Earth 2 as a made-for-television movie on The Sci-Fi Channel. I know that TSFC had expressed  interest in the show in 1995, but was not producing original movies or series at that time. Since then, TSFC has produced many original productions, including Sliders and Welcome to Paradox. Earth 2 is receiving consistently high ratings in its Sunday night time slot on TSFC. I believe that a made-for-television movie would find a large audience on TSFC, and be well worth the investment.
